Before we begin

Before we begin, you should understand the difference between the GIF Player and the GIF Panel. The GIF Player is a script that does the actual displaying stuff. The GIF Panel is a separate panel that uses the GIF Player. They're two separate things. The GIF Player can be used without the GIF Panel, but most of the time you'll want to use them together.
