Inserting a recording
The next step is to insert the recording so you can play it back later. There are two ways to insert a recording: you can quickly insert it in-game or you can insert it using the StacyPilot plugin. You should use the in-game method only for testing.
Inserting a recording in-game
To quickly insert a recording for testing when you're in the game, press the Load other recording
button the bottom of the Recordings list
section. You'll be asked to insert a recording name. If you just saved a recording, that name will be filled out for you. After submitting the name, a button will appear in the Individual
recording list. Pressing that button will play back that recording.
Inserting using the plugin
The proper way to insert a recording is to use the StacyPilot plugin. When in Studio, open the plugin and go down to the Insert recording
section. Insert the name of the recording and press the Insert
button. The next time you start the game, the recording will be ready in the Individual
section.
Recordings are actually scripts, so if this is your first time using the plugin, you might be prompted to allow script injection. The plugin needs that permission to insert the recording into your game. If you denied that permission, you can always allow it later in the Manage Plugins
window.
